At Custom Plastic Developments, we have provided the best quality custom plastic fabrication services since 1972. At the center of it all is our plastic injection molding department. We operate the most state-of-the-art equipment available in the industry, including molding machines equipped with highly advanced features and technologies. We specialize in offering a wide selection of thermoplastic resins at mid- to high-volumes, with close tolerance parameters available as needed. Our facility houses 13 molding presses with clamping forces that range from 33 to 1000 tons, allowing for the production of workpieces that range from small, intricate components all the way up to components such as large covers and housings. Some of the features of our molding machines include closed loop control, operator interface through CRTs, and a broad array of profile injection speeds and pressures. Our machines also feature SPC capabilities and RS232 interfaces for the monitoring and control of molding process parameters. We offer a number of specialized molding processes as well, including high press tonnage, in-mold assembly, and solid molding. Other available processes include over molding, metal insert molding, and a variety of post molding finishing options.

Our professional molding experience encompasses hundreds of different types of plastics. These include ABS, acrylic, acetal, Delrin, Hytrel, and Noryl. We also work with all different types of nylon, including nylon 6, 6/6, 6/12, DuPont ST801, glass-filled nylon, and various percentage blends. Some of the other plastics we work with include phenolic, polyester, polyetherimide, polyimide, polystyrene, polyurethane, TPE, TPU, and urethane. In addition, we are also equipped with a complete inventory of secondary equipment to provide any additional processing our customers require. These include assembly, customized packaging, adhesive bonding, decorating, engraving, finishing, and a host of others.
